We were so heartened to learn about the change schools in Finland are implementing: they are moving away from traditional ‘subject’ based teaching to a more modern ‘topics’ based approach. We use a similar strategy to teach key principles of learning and team work to our students at Wize Academy. We strongly believe that such changes are required to prepare our children for times when information is just a tool and know-how to apply it to achieve set goal will be valued foremost.
