July 6 - Aug 274 to 5 PM ESTMon & ThursRemote Robotics using Lego WeDo and MIT ScratchYoung learners learn to code a remote Lego WeDo Robot (built by us) using MIT Scratch, live during an instructor led session. Teaches the students basic coding concepts in a fun way using block based programming language, MIT Scratch

- CSS to style and layout web content
- JavaScript to add dynamic functionality to web pages
- Draw and animate fun Web graphics
- Fixing and debugging

The websites are themed and uniquely built based on the area of interest of child – hobbies, business idea, social impact. They get to own the site and continue building on it even after the class!!

- Visual inspection, image classification & object recognition
- Speech and handwriting recognition (like smart speakers)
- Self-driving cars & reinforcement learning
- Smart Chatbots

These projects enable learners to learn all aspects of AI & ML in a FUN and engaging way!

They:

- Gather and prepare data
- Choose, evaluate & train the models
- Learn from predictions and further fine tune them

Online Summer Camp Themes - Learn to Create, Code, Design & Build!

Engineering & Robotics

Program 3 - 5 bots through the week and debug real time bots applying the concepts learnt in class and then transition into the world of the electrical engineering & robotics with LEGO WeDo and LEGO Mindstorms. Great class for engineers of tomorrow!!

Super Hero Programming

Students adventure through code as they begin creating animations, games, music, and videos of their super heroes.  No prior coding experience needed.

Code, Control and Fly Drones

Experience the thrill of control, coding and flying Drones! Learn computer science fundamentals thru hands-on experimentation. Use both block and text-based coding to control drones. Start with simple programs where you automate drone’s flight path, learn to build your own custom drone controller.

Robot Petting Zoo

Students participate in a “makeathon” to create a robotic pet to delight and inspire visitors to the petting zoo. They construct their pets from familiar materials such as cardboard and craft supplies and use robotic components and programming to bring their creations to life.

Modding with Minecraft

Students get to go beyond just playing Minecraft, they get to program it! They create mods in Minecraft by learning programming concepts and applying them to realize their ideas. We are excited see what amazing ideas and "mods" students come up with! No prior coding experience needed.

Wild Web Design

Ready to make your mark on web! Learn the tools that pros use - HTML, JavaScript & CSS. The websites are themed and uniquely built based on the area of interest of child - hobbies, business idea, social impact. Interactive Programming in Python

Learn the MOST popular programming language in the world! Python is widely used across multiple industries like artificial intelligence & robotics. This camp is designed to help students learn building interactive applications using Python. 3D Design & Printing

3D design and printing teaches important STEAM concepts and design thinking. It helps unlock children’s natural drive to create, share and explore. Students learn how to design simple 3D models and prepare them for 3D printing. They make something from scratch and get to take their creations home!

Mobile App Development

Learn mobile app programming using MIT App Inventor. Build Android mobile apps and get your ideas published online. App Inventor allows the you to create real applications for Android devices. Classes are customized to age appropriate projects. No prior coding experience needed.
