Hackathon

Wize Academy continues to revolutionize education. On December 12th, we hosted first ever Hackathon in Universal Academy for kids from 2 – 5th grades. Kids were given multiple themes/topics to choose to code. With 32 +  participants room was overflowing of energy and excitement. All the young coders were heads down making their project look the best. Participants were given 60 minutes to build the project. It was followed by a 3 minute presentation, a chance for the kids to rise and shine. The projects were judged by 3 independent panel of judges. Winners got trophies – Most creative project, Most detailed project, Best Presentation and Overall Best project. We were glad both parents and kids enjoyed the event. Will continue the rigor to do more and more of such events.
